Polocrosse is a fantastic horse sport that the whole family can enjoy. Polocrosse is also a truly Australian sport, being developed in this Country back in 1938.

The first official polocrosse club was formed at Ingleburn, NSW in 1939 with the second club, Burradoo, being formed in 1946 and the first inter club competition was held.
The game quickly spread, and today there are over 250 clubs and 5,000 registered players through out Australia. The game is now played in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Zimbabwe, USA, Canada, England, Ireland, France, The Netherlands, Uruguay, Vanuatu and Argentina.

New South Wales is the largest state in Australia in terms of Polocrosse player numbers, and the sport is very strong in regional areas with many carnivals on just about every weekend during the season.
New South Wales has 9 zones and 58 clubs approximately 1,300 registered players.
